Mary bought some of my older style pendants and beads a couple of months ago when I was having a big destash to clean up for a party.
Check out her description of the bracelet from her etsy listing-http://www.etsy.com/view_listing.php?listing_id=26131335
no quote or fancy saying this time... i was driving my daughter to work on the boardwalk this morning and this bracelet came to me... sand, sea & sky... pebbles on the beach, a textured boardwalk...
a stoneware pendant in brown with blue dangles with an amazonite cube from a bracelet made of lampwork glass in sandy brown, mykonos greek beads in soft turquoise & earthy brown, a large wooden bead, an acrylic indochine bead, chrysocolla, and faceted amazonite... lots of bali and karen hill tribe silver... sterling toggle clasp...
standard 7" fit...
I love it! Thanks for sharing your work Mary Jane! :-)
Mary had good taste and the bracelet worked just fine, but your beads are nice too. So, congratulations to both of you.
ReplyDeleteThanks Anamir!
ReplyDeleteI like the bracelet a lot! So much that I am thinking of looking through my old work again and adding more of it to my shop :-)
kristie - i love all of your work... the 'older' style is incredibly earthy... the 'newer' has more color... so much can be done with both! i respect the evolution of your style, but i am happy to hear that you might not be giving up on the older pieces... i really connect with them... thanks for showing my work - i appreciate it...
